8. Non-use for Model Training by External AI Services
Data sent from HiGPT to external AI services is handled under settings or contractual terms that do not allow use for training or improving those providers’ foundation models. This does not mean that external providers never process, store, log, monitor, or review data for service provision, abuse prevention, safety, legal compliance, or incident response.

If teachers or organizations use HiGPT data for research, external publication, identifiable analysis, teaching-material publication, case studies, or educational-effect analysis beyond ordinary class operation, they must comply with their institution’s rules, ethics review procedures, privacy rules, applicable laws, and required consent procedures. HiGPT does not replace or guarantee research ethics review, institutional approval, or consent procedures.
